About us
We are involved in more than just cutting hair, but giving back to our community as well. A few of the ways we give back are:

Volunteering at Look Good/ Feel Better, an organization that helps women with cancer feel better about themselves by giving them a day of beauty by doing their hair/wigs and makeup)

Raising money for the United Way of Bloomfield, People to People organization in Bloomfield, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure

Raising to help out three families in need with presents for their children during this past Christmas season

Monica Di Lauri was born and raised in Bloomfield, New Jersey. She graduated from Bloomfield High School and decided to follow her passion of hair and design. She began her training at the Capri Institute in Clifton, NJ and continued training at the Trevoir Sorbie Institute in London. After working in various local salons, she decided to open a salon of her own. Having always been part of the Bloomfield community, she opened her own salon in Bloomfield in order share her joy of styling with her sense of community.
Since 1988, Monica’s hair salon has impacted the community. Along with loving what she does and creating a place where both staff and clients can relax and enjoy their time together, she does a lot to support her community by raising money for special charities. Check out some of her recent and upcoming fundraisers where she continues to give back to her community.
Monica believes the best part of working on a client’s hair is not just the outcome of the hair, but how happy her clients are when she can make them feel so good about themselves.
